Dark curls frame a level, unsmiling gaze. Sheer violet gauze falls from her arms over a tight violet dress, a long ribbon trails to the right, and a cream petticoat cut with eyelet flowers froths at the knee. Yellow letters with purple shadows curve down across the top with her name.

The original: colour lithograph, 1890; Bibliothèque nationale de France, Paris.

Alfred Choubrac (1853–1902) was a French poster artist, illustrator and costume designer in Paris.
