Little is known of his life before 1427. He painted altarpieces and manuscript illuminations, carved sculpture and supplied designs for embroidery, and his panels brought a richness of colour and fine detail new to Catalan painting. He is known for Saint George and the Dragon, the Retable of Saint Peter of Púbol — his only directly documented work — and the Retable of the Transfiguration in Barcelona Cathedral. His work is held by the Art Institute of Chicago, the Louvre in Paris and the Museu d'Art de Girona.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eEach print is a giclée, printed to order.
