Bold lettering across the top and base names the exhibition and its two host museums, with the years 1275 and 1925 set in roundels.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHuib Luns (1881–1942) was a Dutch painter, sculptor and writer who also designed posters, book covers and medals. Born in Paris, he studied at the Rijksnormaalschool in Amsterdam, began his career in Brussels, and went on to teach in Rotterdam, direct art schools in 's-Hertogenbosch and Amsterdam, and from 1931 hold a professorship at the Technische Hogeschool Delft. He wrote widely on art, including books on Rubens, Spanish painters and Jan Sluijters.
