Blue lettering carries the title at the upper left and a two-line verse across the foot, above a small stamp at the right.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIvan Malyutin (1891–1932) was a Russian painter, poster artist and caricaturist. He graduated from the Stroganov School in Moscow in 1911, exhibited with the Jack of Diamonds group and designed for Sergei Zimin's opera theatre. From 1919 to 1921 he was one of the leading artists of the ROSTA Windows of Satire, the stencilled news posters made in Moscow by a team that included Mikhail Cheremnykh, Vladimir Mayakovsky and Dmitry Moor, and in 1920 he drew political posters on the Polish front and the fight against Wrangel. He later drew for satirical magazines including Krokodil.
