He designed, hand-coloured and engraved educational charts and posters published through James Reynolds \u0026amp; Sons of 174 Strand, London, including a series of 44 charts begun around 1850 on geology, geography, astronomy and natural philosophy. The British Museum received a large collection of his work in 1913, donated by his son, the painter J. P.
