The whole design is drawn in pencil on cream paper.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMathieu Lauweriks (1864–1932) was a Dutch architect, designer and teacher. Born in Roermond, son of the head of the Cuypers and Stoltzenberg sculpture workshop, he opened an architecture office with K. P. C. de Bazel in 1895, and with him taught Theosophical courses in Amsterdam exploring links between mathematical order, nature and the cosmos. He taught in Haarlem and Düsseldorf, and from 1909 to 1916 worked in Hagen for Karl Ernst Osthaus as artistic director of the Hagen silversmithy. In Amsterdam he edited and designed the art journal Wendingen from 1918 to 1931. His archive, including designs for the 1914 Werkbund exhibition in Cologne, is held by Het Nieuwe Instituut.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePrinted as a museum-grade giclée on Hahnemühle fine art paper using 12-ink archival pigment printing.
