The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMirza Muhammad Qabahat was a Persian painter in the Safavid royal workshop in Tabriz in the 1520s, one of the artists of the illustrated Shahnama made for Shah Tahmasp. Pages attributed to him, made with or under the painter Abd al-Aziz, include the Combat of Rustam and Ashkabus and the Iranians Mourning Farud and Jarira, one of the most emotionally charged scenes in the manuscript; both are in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Abd al-Aziz was a Persian painter at the Safavid royal workshop in Tabriz in the first half of the sixteenth century. He painted scenes for the Shahnama made for Shah Tahmasp, many of them from the story of Zal and Rudaba, and a number of these pages are held by the Metropolitan Museum of Art.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eEach print is a giclée, printed to order.
