Sidney Hall (1788–1831) was a British engraver and cartographer whose precise celestial illustrations were published in Urania's Mirror (1824) — a set of 32 hand-coloured star chart cards widely regarded as among the most beautiful astronomical prints ever made. Originally designed with perforations so candlelight could shine through the stars, they represent the golden age of scientific illustration, when precision and beauty were considered inseparable.
