Two pale figures stretch and fall through grey dream-space
Alfred Kubin — Statement Duo | Man & Every Night a Dream Visits Us | Symbolist Art Print
Note: Framed prints require slightly longer production time
Alfred Kubin (1877–1959) was an Austrian symbolist draughtsman and novelist — one of the great imagists of fear, night, and the unconscious in early 20th-century European art. Working almost entirely in pen-and-ink with washes of grey and brown, he created a body of work unlike anything else in his time: dream landscapes, grotesque figures, animals that seem to be thinking, humans that seem to be dissolving. His novel The Other Side (1908) is one of the masterworks of German Expressionist fiction. His drawings are held at the Albertina, Vienna, and in major collections worldwide.
Printed as a museum-grade giclée on Hahnemühle fine art paper using 12-ink archival pigment printing. Available handframed in FSC-certified wood with optional float glass, or unframed. Ships worldwide with free delivery to 30+ countries.
