Esoteric & Occult Art Prints

Esoteric and occult art prints: magic, alchemy, astrology, tarot and mystical diagrams from the 15th to the 20th century. The collection includes the Italian Tarocchi engravings (c. 1465) showing planets, virtues and liberal arts; illustrations from 18th-century German books of magic (c. 1775), including the Compendium Rarissimum totius Artis Magicae and Cyprianus, with spirits, seals and demons; and alchemical engravings by Robert Fludd, Matthäus Merian and Athanasius Kircher from the 1600s. Later works include Éliphas Lévi's Chariot of Hermes (1856), Francis Barrett's magical symbols (1801), a Masonic chart (1872), and abstract spiritual paintings by Hilma af Klint (1908 to 1916).

The works were made as working diagrams and book pages, not as decoration.

The engravings and diagrams suit studies, libraries and hallways, often hung as a grid. All prints are museum-quality reproductions, available unframed or framed with low-glare acrylic glazing, with free shipping and import duties covered.
