EU Returns & Right of Withdrawal

Every print and frame is individually produced for your order, and every EU order remains protected by the consumer rights that apply to online purchases.

14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you generally have the legal right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.

Please include your order number and tell us that you wish to exercise your EU right of withdrawal.

Returning Your Order

After notifying us that you wish to withdraw, please return the artwork promptly and in suitable protective packaging.

Unless the item is damaged, defective, incorrect, or we have expressly agreed otherwise, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the order. EU rules permit sellers to require the customer to bear return postage costs provided this is disclosed before purchase.

Because framed artworks can be large and fragile, we strongly recommend using a tracked and adequately insured shipping service.

Please contact us before sending a return so that we can provide the correct return instructions and destination.

Condition of Returned Artwork

You may inspect the artwork as you reasonably would in a physical shop.

If the artwork is handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and condition, any resulting reduction in value may be taken into account when processing the return.

Please return the artwork, frame, and any supplied components in their original condition wherever reasonably possible.

Refunds Following Withdrawal

Once a valid withdrawal has been exercised, we will refund the amounts required by applicable EU consumer law.

Where applicable, this includes the original standard delivery charge paid by the customer. Since 9 Art Prints currently provides free standard worldwide shipping, there will ordinarily be no outbound shipping charge to refund.

We may wait until we have received the returned goods, or until you provide evidence that they have been sent back, before issuing the refund where permitted by law.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

Your statutory withdrawal rights are separate from your rights when something is wrong with the order.

If your artwork arrives:

• damaged,
• defective,
• incorrectly produced, or
• different from what you ordered,

contact us and we will make it right at no cost to you.

Under EU law, consumers are entitled to a minimum two-year legal guarantee for goods that are faulty or do not conform to what was agreed. The usual remedies include repair or replacement at no cost, with price reduction or refund available in appropriate circumstances.

For 9 Art Prints orders, we will normally resolve a valid damage, defect, or fulfilment error through a replacement or reprint wherever appropriate.

Custom or Clearly Personalised Orders

EU law provides exceptions to the 14-day withdrawal right for certain goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised.

This may apply, for example, to genuinely bespoke products created to individual customer specifications rather than standard options offered on our website.

Where an order qualifies for this legal exception, we will make this clear before the order is placed.

Our standard damage, defect, and incorrect-order protection still applies.
