Expressionism & Modern Painting Prints

Expressionist and early modern art prints: paintings, drawings and prints from about 1885 to 1945 that use strong colour and distorted forms to show emotion. Artists include Edvard Munch, Egon Schiele, James Ensor, Wassily Kandinsky, Franz Marc, August Macke, Alexej von Jawlensky, Amedeo Modigliani, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner and Karl Wiener, whose 1920s–40s Austrian works form a large group. The collection also has works by August Strindberg, Francis Picabia, Pablo Picasso, Georgia O'Keeffe and Theo van Doesburg. Movements represented include German Expressionism, Der Blaue Reiter and Die Brücke, with portraits, nudes, masks, animals and landscapes as common subjects.

The bold colour paintings suit living rooms, offices and modern interiors; the black-and-white etchings work in studies and hallways. All prints are museum-quality reproductions, available unframed or framed with low-glare acrylic glazing, with free shipping and import duties covered.
