Green Art Prints

Green art prints: paintings, woodblock prints, patterns and illustrations in which green is a dominant colour. Artists include Amrita Sher-Gil (Indian scenes and portraits, 1934 to 1940), Hiroshi Yoshida, Ohara Koson and Shiro Kasamatsu (Japanese woodblock prints of mountains, rivers and birds), William Morris and Arthur Heygate Mackmurdo (leaf and vine patterns), and Symbolist painters such as Fernand Khnopff, Mikhail Vrubel, Mikalojus Čiurlionis and Hugo Simberg. Also included are Edward Hopper's Nighthawks (1942), works by Hieronymus Bosch and William Blake, fairy-tale illustrations by Edmund Dulac and Warwick Goble, Orientalist paintings by Jean-Léon Gérôme and Étienne Dinet, and colour studies after Josef Albers. Subjects include forests, gardens, foliage, water and figures.

The green prints suit kitchens, dining rooms and rooms with plants, wood furniture or sage and olive walls. All prints are museum-quality reproductions, available unframed or framed with low-glare acrylic glazing, with free shipping and import duties covered.
