Italy Art Prints

Italy art prints: paintings, posters and prints of Venice, Rome, Capri and other Italian places, history and life. The largest group is 18th-century Venetian views (vedute) by Canaletto and Francesco Guardi, showing the Grand Canal, Piazza San Marco, the Rialto Bridge and the lagoon, with carnival scenes by Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo. Rome appears in 17th-century views of the Forum by Claude Lorrain and Canaletto's Arch of Constantine. Later works include Venice paintings by Édouard Manet (1874) and Paul Signac (1905 to 1908), John Singer Sargent's Staircase in Capri (1878), Jean-Léon Gérôme's scenes of ancient Rome, and Italian posters of the 1890s and 1900s by Adolfo Hohenstein and Leopoldo Metlicovitz.

The selection shows Italy through both Italian artists and foreign visitors.

The Venetian views suit living and dining rooms; the posters work in kitchens and entryways. All prints are museum-quality reproductions, available unframed or framed with low-glare acrylic glazing, with free shipping and import duties covered.
