Film & Cinema Art Prints

Film and cinema art prints: vintage movie posters and early cinema advertising from the 1890s to the 1960s. The collection includes Soviet film posters of the 1920s, including Zvenigora (1928), Fragment of an Empire (1929) and The Overcoat (1926), by designers such as Leonid Voronov and Mikhail Evstafiev; posters for Fritz Lang's Metropolis (1927), The Phantom of the Opera (1925), Charlie Chaplin's City Lights (1931), Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) and Attack of the 50 Foot Woman (1958); and Saul Bass's designs for Vertigo (1958) and Anatomy of a Murder (1959). Early works include Jules Chéret's Pantomimes lumineuses poster (1892) and Ludwig Hohlwein's 1913 posters for Ernemann projectors.

The posters were chosen for their graphic design as much as for the films they advertise.

The bold posters suit media rooms, home offices and hallways. All prints are museum-quality reproductions, available unframed or framed with low-glare acrylic glazing, with free shipping and import duties covered.
