Music Art Prints

Music art prints: paintings, posters, miniatures and engravings of musicians, instruments, concerts and opera. The collection includes Italian opera posters by Adolfo Hohenstein and Leopoldo Metlicovitz for Puccini's La Bohème, Tosca and Madama Butterfly; French sheet-music and concert posters of the 1880s and 1890s by Théophile Steinlen, Eugène Grasset and Georges de Feure; and German posters by Ludwig Hohlwein. Indian Ragamala miniatures (17th to 19th century) illustrate musical modes. Other works include 18th-century paintings by Jean-Baptiste Greuze and Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun, William Hogarth's The Enraged Musician (1741), Orientalist scenes by Ludwig Deutsch, and modern works by Paul Klee, Theo van Doesburg and Henri Matisse's Jazz (1947).

The works show music being made, staged or sold, across five centuries.

The opera posters and Matisse suit music rooms, living rooms and home studios. All prints are museum-quality reproductions, available unframed or framed with low-glare acrylic glazing, with free shipping and import duties covered.
