Spring Art Prints

Spring art prints: paintings, woodblock prints, posters and illustrations of spring blossoms, flowers, rain and seasonal festivals. The largest group is Japanese shin-hanga woodblock prints by Kawase Hasui and Hiroshi Yoshida (1920s to 1950s) showing cherry blossoms, wisteria, spring rain and temple gardens, with earlier ukiyo-e by Katsushika Hokusai. Art Nouveau prints include Walter Crane's Flora's Feast (1889), Eugène Grasset's month series, Heinrich Vogeler and Alphonse Mucha, alongside American Easter posters by Louis Rhead and Ethel Reed from the 1890s. The collection also includes Botticelli's Spring (c. 1480), Indian Pahari miniatures of spring and Holi, Korean genre paintings by Sin Yun-bok, and Soviet May Day posters.

The selection shows how different cultures marked the start of spring.

The soft pinks and greens suit bedrooms, kitchens and breakfast rooms. All prints are museum-quality reproductions, available unframed or framed with low-glare acrylic glazing, with free shipping and import duties covered.
