Chalk downs, patchwork fields and an old oak call Londoners outdoors
E. McKnight Kauffer — Statement Trio | London Underground Posters | Vintage Art Print
Note: Framed prints require slightly longer production time
E. McKnight Kauffer (1890–1954) was an American-born, London-based graphic designer and poster artist whose work for London Underground transformed British public design between the wars. Combining Cubist and Vorticist influences with an instinctive feel for bold colour and legible typography, he produced over 140 posters for London Underground between 1915 and 1940 — a body of work that is now among the most studied and collected in graphic design history. His designs effectively defined the visual identity of the modern city.
Printed as a museum-grade giclée on Hahnemühle fine art paper using 12-ink archival pigment printing. Available handframed in FSC-certified wood with optional float glass, or unframed. Ships worldwide with free delivery to 30+ countries.
