Henri Privat-Livemont (1861–1936) was a Belgian Art Nouveau designer who trained in Paris and returned to Brussels to become one of the movement's most celebrated poster artists. His Absinthe Robette poster (1896) — a luminous woman cradling a glass of absinthe in ethereal morning light — is widely considered one of the most beautiful advertising posters ever created. Privat-Livemont's Art Nouveau work combines decorative splendour with an almost spiritual radiance, placing him among the movement's finest.
