Owen Jones (1809–1874) was a Welsh architect and designer whose Grammar of Ornament (1856) — 112 chromolithographic plates documenting decorative traditions from ancient Egypt to the Renaissance — became the single most influential design reference book of the 19th century. Superintendent of Works for the Great Exhibition of 1851 and principal decorator of the Crystal Palace, he shaped the visual culture of the Victorian age. His systematic documentation of Islamic, Persian, Moorish, and classical ornament underpins the entire history of modern pattern design.

A More Considered Kind of Wall Art

We’re Not for Everyone — and That’s Okay

If you want mass-produced posters that arrive overnight, we aren't a fit. We use a demanding 12-ink giclée process on heavy Hahnemühle paper. It takes a little longer to craft and costs a bit more. But if you value true museum-grade art designed to last generations, this was made for you.

01

For Buyers Who Notice Materials

Owen Jones — Egyptian | Grammar of Ornament Design Print is produced using archival pigment printing on premium fine art paper — not thin poster stock or disposable décor paper.

02

For Rooms That Should Feel Chosen

The difference between a room that is simply decorated and one that feels considered often comes down to the art. We select pieces for atmosphere, presence, and long-term visual appeal.

03

For a More Finished Presentation

Choose unframed if you already have a framer, or framed if you want a ready-to-hang piece with solid wood framing and premium glazing options.

In plain English: this is for buyers who want wall art that feels more lasting, more intentional, and more considered than mass-market décor.
