The Tughra of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent (r. 1520–1566) is the ceremonial monogram of the Ottoman sultan at the zenith of his empire's power — a calligraphic seal combining the sultan's name, his father's name, and the phrase "the ever-victorious" into a single asymmetric design of extraordinary visual authority. Executed by the Ottoman court's chief calligrapher, the Tughra was stamped on imperial decrees, trade privileges, and architectural commissions, and was the most recognisable emblem of Ottoman sovereignty. As an object it sits at the intersection of calligraphic mastery, heraldic design, and political theatre.
Printed as a museum-grade giclée on Hahnemühle fine art paper using 12-ink archival pigment printing. Available handframed in FSC-certified wood with optional float glass, or unframed. Ships worldwide with free delivery to 30+ countries.
