Koloman Moser (1868–1918) was one of the founding figures of the Vienna Secession and co-founder of the Wiener Werkstätte — the workshop that made Vienna the design capital of early 20th-century Europe. A graphic designer, painter, illustrator, and applied artist of extraordinary range, he produced posters, book covers, textiles, glassware, furniture, and stained glass, all in a style that bridges Art Nouveau ornament and the geometric rigour of the coming modernist age. His exhibition posters and decorative works are among the most sought-after images of the Vienna Secession.
