A musician in ochre and stripes plays a rebab against a stone wall
Rudolf Ernst — The Musician | Orientalist Fine Art Print
Rudolf Ernst (1854–1932) was an Austrian Orientalist painter who spent much of his career in Paris and made extensive journeys to Spain, Morocco, Egypt, and Turkey. His interiors — musicians in tiled courtyards, scholars in mashrabiya-screened rooms, guards in sumptuous palace corridors — are among the most sumptuously detailed works of the entire Orientalist movement. Working in the tradition of Ludwig Deutsch, he brought an exceptional gift for pattern, colour, and the warm glow of interior light to every composition.
Printed as a museum-grade giclée on Hahnemühle fine art paper using 12-ink archival pigment printing. Available handframed in FSC-certified wood with optional float glass, or unframed. Ships worldwide with free delivery to 30+ countries.
