Odilon Redon — The Smiling Spider | Symbolist Fine Art Print
Odilon Redon (1840–1916) was a French Symbolist painter and printmaker whose work occupies a unique position in the history of modern art — between the visible and the visionary, the botanical and the dreamlike, the charcoal nocturne and the blazing colour. His early graphic works — the Noirs series of lithographs and charcoal drawings featuring floating eyes, strange heads, and shadowy figures — are among the most psychologically complex images of the 19th century. His later pastels and paintings, vibrant with symbolic flowers, are among the most luminous works of the symbolist movement.
Printed as a museum-grade giclée on Hahnemühle fine art paper using 12-ink archival pigment printing. Available handframed in FSC-certified wood with optional float glass, or unframed. Ships worldwide with free delivery to 30+ countries.
