Symbolism & Surrealism Prints

Symbolist and visionary art prints: paintings, etchings, lithographs and engravings of dreams, myth, death and the supernatural, from the late 18th to the early 20th century. Artists include William Blake, Max Klinger, Rodolphe Bresdin, Gustave Moreau, Henry Fuseli, Fernand Khnopff, Jacek Malczewski and Arnold Böcklin. Works include Böcklin's The Isle of the Dead, Blake's Songs of Innocence and of Experience and his Dante engravings, Klinger's print cycles On Death and A Glove, Moreau's Salome, and John Martin's Paradise Lost mezzotints. Subjects are biblical and mythological scenes, imagined landscapes and figures from dreams.

The dark palettes and detailed engravings suit studies, libraries and reading corners; the larger paintings work above a console or desk. All prints are museum-quality reproductions, available unframed or framed with low-glare acrylic glazing, with free shipping and import duties covered.
